How AdSense works
- You apply with your site, and Google reviews it against the AdSense program policies.
- Once approved, you add Google’s code and choose ad units or turn on Auto ads.
- Advertisers compete in an auction for your ad space, and a relevant, well-paying ad is shown.
- Google pays your share of the revenue monthly, once your earnings pass the payment threshold.
How much can you earn?
Earnings depend on your traffic, your topic, where your visitors are and how the ads are placed. Publishers usually track page RPM: earnings per 1,000 page views. Topics such as finance and insurance tend to earn more than entertainment.

Frequently asked questions
Can you use AdSense on Blogger?
Yes. Your blog needs original content, enough posts and visitors for Google to review, and it must follow the AdSense program policies. You can then apply from the Earnings section of your Blogger dashboard.
How do you earn AdSense money on YouTube?
Through the YouTube Partner Program. To share in ad revenue you need at least 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 public watch hours in the last 12 months or 10 million public Shorts views in the last 90 days, and a linked AdSense account to get paid.
